The Workshop Experience

Guided Step-by-Step Instruction

Our experienced ceramic artists walk you through centering your clay, opening the ball, and pulling upward to create functional drinking cups, mugs, and tumblers.

Hands-On Wheel Time

Each participant gets a dedicated pottery wheel with hands-on coaching throughout the session. Focus on the craft and tactile fun of throwing clay.

Optional Firing & Glazing

Your workshop includes the instruction, clay, and tools needed for the experience. Firing and glazing are optional and are not included in the class price. At the end of your session, you can choose whether to have your piece professionally finished.

Do I need any wheel throwing experience?

No experience needed! This class is designed specifically for beginners.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes and trim your nails if possible. Clay washes out of clothing easily.

How does firing and glazing work?

Your class ticket covers instruction, clay, and wheel use. Optional professional kiln firing ($10) and glazing (from $20) are available at the end of class with ~3-week pickup.
